- Get the Picture – The first step of your process should attempt to assess, qualify, and get an idea of what the customer is trying to accomplish. Get the picture to discover the “PP”. Ask questions about the car they have now. Ask questions to find their wants and needs. Ask questions to discover how they use the vehicle. Great salespeople ask more questions to get the best possible picture. This way they can easily move away from their problems, and toward their possibilities.
- Give Information – The goal here is to be interesting, entertaining, and fun while offering relevant information that fits this customer’s picture. Give information to create certainty. Get the customer excited about this vehicle that’s going to fit his picture and solve the “PP” perfectly!
- Offer Solutions with Choices Available – Most salespeople are selling what’s possible. Great salespeople solve the customers’ problems with what’s available and best suited to their needs.
