Welcome back to our video series, Advertising for Success. We started the year with a 60-day challenge with every hope of making this the best year of business for you so far! Have you been doing the work? You have to do the work for this to work. Even Ali Reda had to do the work.
Ten years ago, Ali Reda was selling 25-30 a month. It’s important for you to know that he’s just like you. What propelled him forward was awareness, belief in his abilities, and consistency in his process. He did not have time for self-doubt. There was no time in the schedule for that! No time to compare himself to other salespeople, or to convince himself that he couldn’t get to the next level. You don’t have time for that shit either. What you see as shiny in Ali is a reflection of yourself. I invite you to watch this week’s video, and begin to see yourself clearly.
So, how do we do that? How do we shake off all that training, and be ourselves? Well, I’m so glad you asked. That brings us to your new homework for the challenge! We’re going to take an inventory of your process, and redesign your belief system into one that propels you forward. We’re finally using Facebook, and we want to share with you what we think it can do for your business. What Ali did in ten years, Carlos is on track to do in only two years using Ali’s process along with his social platforms. That’s what this challenge is all about – merging the old relationship business with the new.
Because the game changed for Ali when the awareness piece came in and became part of every day, that’s what we need to do here next. I know it’s been a pretty easy challenge so far. You’ve been tinkering around on Facebook, making a few extra friends and joining some groups. Not so tough. This one will take a little more effort, but I promise it’ll be well worth it.
So, here’s your new assignment…
Write down your process. Getting great at this business so that you can have a career is about understanding what your business model looks like. Ask every question to get your picture and theirs. Take notice.
- What just happened?
- How did the customer perceive that interaction?
- How did I perceive it?
- How did it feel?
- How am I showing up? Am I being kind, present, and helpful in every exchange?
- Am I transactional or relationship driven?
- How long is it going to take to build this career if I move toward the relationship model?
- How do high achievers show up to accomplish a profitable career?
- What can I do to move forward intentionally?
There is meaning behind everything. Understanding human behavior is about who, what, where, when, why, and how people do things. And by people, I mean you. Once you understand yourself, you’ll better perceive the meaning of every interaction.
Using strategies found in Keep It Simple Selling and How to Sell 100 Cars a Month, Ali Reda took his career to the next level by being authentic and true to himself. Be yourself. Ali isn’t the only shiny object in this world. You are shiny too! You are influential, magnetic, and likable. We want you to be the guy in the room that everyone wants to know. And now, we’re taking that to the next level. Be a connector in your community, and use your social media platforms to boost that! You have every capability of the same kind of success that Ali has found, and all the tools within you.
