So, we started 2022 with a challenge, and we’ve been diving deep into it to propel your career forward. By implementing the Auto Training Academy philosophy into your sales process, we hope you’re already finding so much growth!
Have you been doing the work? So far in our challenge, we’ve loaded you up with suggestions to boost your presence on social media. You’ve expanded your network of friends, joined some groups that interest you, and you’ve been engaging your local community. Last week, we told you to take a closer look at your process, ask yourself some questions, and revise accordingly. Your process should change as you grow, and in this challenge we expect a lot of growth!
In this business, we get an awful lot of skeptical customers, and honestly they’re not wrong to question our motives. I invite you to watch this week’s video as we explore ways to help them see that our sincere intention is to be an advocate for them. This is the goal, right? We want to transform their idea of us. We want to be a non-threatening presence. We want to be perceived as the good people we actually are in person and in the machine.
There you have it, friends! Our challenge this week: Be authentic all the time.
On Facebook or in real life, you should be showing your actual self. Let them into your life. Let them see you being you. The business of this business is people, and we have an incredible tool at our fingertips today with Facebook and other social media platforms.
You’ve spent the last few weeks growing your network of friends, and now all you have to do is keep them engaged. Be interesting, entertain them, provide content, and grow your little tree into an orchard.
Remembering that who you are needs to be in integrity with what you do, let’s use the five pillars of high achievement to make sure that the energy you’re bringing to your posts is congruent with what you mean to show people in real life.
Clarity
Who am I at my best? That’s the question. To make sure you’re showing them your truest self, we suggest you write down who exactly that is. Aren’t you helpful, sincere, and kind? Don’t you want them to see that you are caring, intentional, and attentive to their needs? Write yourself a reminder of who you mean to be for your customers, tack it up next to your computer, and start every day with that kind of clarity.

Intentionality
Where are you going, and why? Now that you know exactly who you want to be every day, you can set a course to do just that. You are driven, goal-oriented, and unstoppable. Starting immediately, you have the opportunity to intentionally exist as your very best self for the betterment of your customers, your business, and yourself.

Energy
In your everyday interactions in person and on Facebook, you may find yourself having to manage the energy in your circle. We all know that it’s easy to get wrapped up in the drama of it all. Especially on social media, people forget to acknowledge humanity. The road rage of the virtual world is not for you. Make sure you’re being nice, understanding, and considerate. Post or comment only when you are coming across as your actual self. Since your new I Am list is right there next to your computer, you can check it every time. Before you click send, ask yourself, “Do I have an attractive, healthy energy?” or “Am I sharing negativity?”

Consistency
You’ll need to have a routine to successfully be a part of these virtual communities. You can post as often as you like, as long as you can keep up with the habit. Your processes and rituals should work for you so feel free to start small. Posting even just a few times a week will keep your audience engaged, as long as you are being consistent. As your best self, you are organized, motivated, and clever. And that’s all you need to make this work!

Relationships
This is what it’s all about, people! We’re in the relationship business after all. Just show up, be yourself, and make a connection with people. Get to know them, support them, bring value to them. Ask about them, and sincerely listen to their story. You are generous, present, and passionate. Let them see you, know you, and be intrigued by the goodness in you.
