Welcome back to the ‘Real’-ationship Series! Today, I have a simple assignment for you: Start becoming aware of the roadblocks that show up in your life. You know the ones I’m talking about—when your throat tightens up, or your belly feels uneasy, or your chest feels tight. These are the moments when something inside you is trying to protect you, to keep you safe. And in feminine energy, we often have this deep need for security. It’s a natural instinct to want to feel safe and secure in everything we do.
But here’s the thing: Sometimes that need for protection becomes a limitation. Sometimes we’re safeguarding in situations where we don’t need to be safe, and that over-protection spills over into areas of our life where we can actually afford to let go a little bit.
Do you remember a time when you truly let yourself go? Maybe it was a moment when you felt completely free—your worries disappeared, and you were fully present in the moment. It felt good, didn’t it? When you allow yourself to let go, knowing that you’re safe because you’re aware of where you are and how you’re navigating that space, you open up the door to adventure.
Yes, adventure—that’s the word! I invite you to watch this week’s video, and open yourself up to some adventure!
Now, let’s be honest: When you’ve been adventurous in the past, haven’t you felt more fun? More attractive? There’s a glow that comes from that kind of energy—a freedom that draws people in. And the truth is, that energy is still within you. It’s just about finding the balance between staying safe and allowing yourself to be free.
Our feminine energy is powerful. It has a glow, a softness, a nurturing presence that is magnetic. That energy—when you allow it to flow—makes you feel attractive, present, and engaged with the world. But sometimes, we hold back that energy because we’re afraid. We think we need to protect ourselves all the time, but in reality, we might be safe even when we don’t feel that way.
The key is to recognize when you’re truly safe and when you’re not. You can bring that feminine presence—wistfulness, nurturing, caring, and curiosity—into new spaces in your life. You can step into the world with a sense of adventure, knowing that you’re secure and that you can trust yourself to handle whatever comes your way.
So here’s where the assignment comes in: Start noticing those moments when you feel the need to protect yourself. Pay attention to when your body tightens up or when you feel uneasy. And in those moments, ask yourself, “Am I really unsafe here? Or am I just holding onto the idea that I need to be protected?”
You might find that in many cases, you’re actually safe. And in those moments, you can choose to let go just a little bit. Let go of the tension. Let go of the need to protect. And allow yourself to step into that soft, glowing, adventurous energy.
If there’s one thing to work toward, it’s to recognize that your feminine energy doesn’t need to be hidden or held back. It’s okay to feel safe, but also to know that you’re safe enough to be adventurous. When you let that glow show—when you let that energy flow—you’ll find that it not only feels good, but it also makes you more attractive, more present, and more connected to the people around you.
So go out today and take care of some people. Be curious about them, not for any reason other than simply to be curious. Trust that you’re safe and allow yourself to enjoy the adventure of life. You’ve got this.
I love you. Now go make someone’s day brighter!
