So if mission statements are so critical that businesses often spend hundreds of hours crafting and fine-tuning them, why do so few people take the time to create their own personal mission statement?
Great question. Why do people not take the time to create intentionality their life? If you were designing a new home you’d have a plan of what you wanted the house to look and feel like. Colors, textures, places to put things, special rooms, types of gadgets and appliances. You’d think it all through to plan your house and not your life. A mission, a vision, your values are the building blocks of any great company or well intentioned human. A lot of folks you know just show up and then complain about what their life looks like without putting thought behind it. You get what you ask and believe in so ask and believe in something epic. You can achieve so much more when you know how you want your house (life) to be.
Hope this is helpful. Have a great week.
