Welcome back, my friends, to our video series, Ali Reda’s Road to Sales Success! We’ve been discussing the Five Pillars of High Achievement and implementing them into your sales process. Now here we are at #4 – consistency.
All high achievers have a few things that they start every day with – tasks that start the day fresh, in the right mindset, and on track before anything else happens. It’s not going to be easy. You’ll have to work at it. You’ll have to be patient, disciplined, and self aware. Most importantly, you’ll have to create a routine for yourself that builds your business and secures your success.
Ali Reda says that consistency is the key. I invite you to watch this week’s video to hear about his daily routine and the consistency in it.
So, when each day begins he checks his email, CSI scores, and preloads the deals for the day. The start to your day might not look exactly like this. The point is just to knock out all those things that have to get checked off the list before you need to be present to your first customer.
So, how do we help you to own your day? Ask yourself these questions, and maybe we can find the answers right now.
- What mindset am I starting each day with? Rushed? Hungry? Tired?
If you’re feeling any of this on a daily basis when you get in, something needs to change. There is a way to adjust so that you can put your best foot forward. If you come in rushed, your whole day will feel rushed.
- What are the things on your list that get knocked out first? Emails and messages? Breakfast and coffee? Catching up with your co-workers on last night’s game?
Whatever you need to do, do it before those doors open. Don’t get there when you’re supposed to be there – get your day started at the right time for you.
- Are you giving yourself a winning edge?
Get in early, have a consistent routine and process, be nice to yourself so that you can be your very best all day, every day. That’s the way to do it.
Time management is a vital part of our success. Ali says, “Measure your day in minutes, not hours.” Interested in learning more about the ins and outs of Ali’s daily routine? Click here to see our in-depth view: A Day in the LIfe of Ali Reda.
Maybe the three things that start your day are different than Ali’s. Share them with us in the comments below. We want all of our friends to benefit from each other. Help us to help others grow.
